Day 91 - How Much Creative Work Can I Do Without Social Media?

I am starting another 93 days on September 2nd. I'd like to write a book and a screenplay and get a new business going at that time.

I'm going to do an experiment. I'm going to stop with the daily social media contact to see how much quieter I can get my head, how much more creativity I can bring into my life, how much more in-person socializing I will do if I don't spend most of my energy tending to on-line relationships. I have a feeling it will be the closest I'll ever come to knowing what it feels like to quit smoking.

(For you smokers out there who are currently outraged at the comparison, I did not say it will be the same or even close. I said it may be the closest I will ever come to knowing what the withdrawal from nicotine feels like.)

I'll also take a rest from blogging. I know some of you just breathed a sigh of relief. Thank you for sticking with me through this outpouring of Anne. Go take a shower or find a way to celebrate your wonderful self with this newly found free time.

See you tomorrow.

xoxo
