Day 80 - Miracles

I started this project with the secret hope that if I committed to writing every day for 93 days, a miracle would happen, something completely off my radar. Going to New York for 93 days had changed my life in ways I hadn't expected including the fact that, at the very end of the trip, I found out who my birth father was. I had a feeling that if I did it again, wrote and wrote and wrote, something amazing would happen.

Today I met with a good friend, and I'm still processing what happened.

But now I know what I'll be doing for the NEXT 93 days.

And then the real miracle happened.

I can't write about it now. But now I know the ending point for the book I'm writing, 93 Ways to Feel Good as an Adopted Person.

Tomorrow Pam Cordano and I head off to Berkeley for our second Beyond Adoption: You retreat. The first one was so incredible--it feels like a miracle that we get to do it again.

So I have a lot to think about.

Go do your breathing exercises. I need to sleep. (I write these the night before I post them.)

See you tomorrow.

xoxo
